TempoClic is a metronome that runs right in your browser, on a computer, tablet or phone. No sign-up, no app to install: pick a tempo and press Start.
Every piece you practice has its own settings: tempo from 30 to 300 BPM, time signature, click sound, played beats, practice time and count-in. Save them once, then bring them back with one click from the song list.
The speed buttons play the song at 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100% of its tempo. Start slowly to get the notes right, then step up to the real tempo without changing the original setting. On a keyboard, the up and down arrows change the speed.
Tap a beat to mute it. Keeping only 2 and 4 trains you to feel the backbeat, like a snare drum. Keeping only beat 1 leaves more room for your own timing.
Set a practice time from 1 to 60 minutes: the metronome stops by itself at the end and shows the time left. An optional bar of count-in gives you time to get ready before you play.
Your songs are saved in this browser, with no account and nothing sent to a server. To use them on another device, export them to a file, then import that file on the other device.
